Failure to meet National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) has negative impacts to public health, the environment, and economy. Maintaining these standards is challenging as areas recover from the recent recession and see increases in population, industrial activity, and vehicle miles traveled. EPA developed the Ozone and PM2.5 Advance programs to assist air quality management agencies with voluntary programs that improve air quality and prevent violating the NAAQS. This webinar will provide insights from Washoe County, Nevada and the State of Minnesota on their firsthand experiences with the Advance programs.
