A&WMA Webinar – Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage – Challenges and Opportunities / Session 2: CCUS Technologies & Commercialization – Wednesday, March 3, 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm ET

Climate change is a global challenge. The United States is actively addressing climate change, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and transitioning towards a carbon-neutral economy. Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) is a key strategy in this transition.

This webinar series will provide the fundamental information to understand CCUS, carbon capture technologies, process design, costs and performance, as well as an overview of the U.S. Department of Energy’s and Environmental Protection Agency’s programs, regulations, and policies for CCUS. Expert presenters with multiple years of experience in CCUS and the air pollution control field will also discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with CCUS, from the technology development and policy development perspectives.

Session 2 will provide information on carbon capture technologies, process design, baseline costs, performance of industrial plants built with carbon capture technologies, and the challenges and opportunities associated with CCUS.
